Just when they most needed it they went and grabbed three points against Real Madrid. Wundergoal from Il Capitano and a great second by Amauri (after a nice run by the indomitable Pavel). Let’s not get too enthusiastic though – the injury list keeps growing, replacements are scarce and we cannot ignore the fact that once we were two nil up there were shades of the wasteful Juve of recent – prepared to concede the draw having shown that they are good enough to run away with the victory.
So. While I am overjoyed for Alex (Del Piero) and co I expect more of the same for the time being – more to make us fans suffer and hope for a team that can really dominate the proceedings. This weekend there’s the derby – another anomalous match that will not permit us to see what Juve’s current form really is – or maybe they need a hot fixture every week to live up to the occasion.
J’accuse is spending the day at home in the dark with a migraine. This has been my five minutes facing a computer.
This has been j’accuse… not reacting to Fausto so that you don’t have to. (dedicated to Alex)
